ILB
Inline Booster/BUFFER
The ILB is a tiny booster/buffer primarily designed for installation onboard a bass or guitar, directly inline after a passive pickup. It features a "set-and-forget" gain trimpot with a range from unity to +20dB. The ILB can be used to match levels between dissimilar pickups, between different instruments that lack internal gain trim, or just about anywhere you need a very quiet, transparent booster or buffer.
Small enough to be mounted directly onto the bottom of a passive pickup, the ILB can effectively transform it into an active pickup with adjustable gain. It can also be easily placed anywhere in the control cavity.
The ILB is exceptionally quiet, with self-noise comparable to that of a single 5kΩ resistor. Its current draw is extremely low, consuming less than 0.3mA.
